"Customer stated unit wouldnt go pass rinse and spin out clothes completely. Shocks check okay. Ran unit in drain and spin, unit drain, but when it went to spin, heard a slight grind as it tried to start but then did nothing. lid remained locked for about 5 minutes until unit unlocked. Unit had f7e5 motor speed fault. Able to get unit to actuate between agitate and spin but unit is grinding when attempting to spin. Again unit remained locked and unmoving for about 5 minutes until it unlocked. Went to remove agitator plate to check hub and top of gear case, agitator plate is seized onto gear case and would have to be broken off.No additional repairs on unit."

Tested unit, found evap thermistor measuring 300 ohms. Took thermistor and moved to working freezer, let sit for several minutes and tested again, same result, thermistor is stuck, reading is not changing unit believes it is cool and not turning on. Replaced thermistor, let unit run, checks okay, advised customer to monitor unit."
